On behalf of the 2021-2022 Baton Rouge Symphony League Board of Directors, I welcome and invite you to be a part of our wonderful organization and to look around our website to get to know who we are and what we do for the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and its educational initiatives in our community and our neighboring communities. The Baton Rouge Symphony League is a great way to get involved! From service projects to fundraisers, the Symphony League supports the many programs of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra with a special emphasis on educational programs. The Baton Rouge Symphony League and its members are united by our love for music and education in our community.
The Baton Rouge Symphony League’s mission is “to serve the interest of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra by fostering music appreciation among children and adults and by giving volunteer service and financial support to the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra.”
We are very excited about the fabulous, fun and festive events we have planned this year. There are numerous ways for you to be a part of our organization and make great friendships all while making a difference in the lives of others!
The League is proud to have Les Jeunes Amies de la Symphonie as a part of our organization and to host our annual Bal de la Symphonie event. This black-tie event is held in honor of the senior class of Les Jeunes Amies de la Symphonie. The purpose of the Les Jeunes Amies organization is to introduce daughters of Baton Rouge Symphony League members to volunteer service benefiting the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. The program begins during the member’s freshman year of high school and the young women continue to serve the community through their senior year. It fosters an appreciation for music, education and volunteerism in these young women.
Please save the dates for some for our signature events, the Mad Hatters Luncheon and Fashion Show and our pre-symphony concert festivities.
I appreciate and thank you for your interest and investment in the good we are doing to support the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra.
