LJA

Les Jeunes Amies de la Symphonie is a group of young ladies who are daughters and granddaughters of members of the Baton Rouge Symphony League and the BRSO Board of Directors. The LJA Program is a unique four year membership designed to develop beneficial life skills, such as leadership, mentoring, fund-raising and volunteerism while supporting the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and Louisiana Youth Orchestra. In addition to forming friendships, the young ladies have an opportunity to gain an appreciation of music and music education. Each LJA class is limited to twenty girls. A young lady can join as she enters her freshman year in high school and is presented at the Bal de la Symphonie her senior year upon completion of the program requirements.
